I got distracted & braked super late as I got a phone call on the last lap 😂😂 Thankfully no one was in front of me…

Played around with a few BB values and it turns out that 61.2 - 61.4 is ideal. I went down till 60 something… hell nah 😂 went up till 65, didn’t work either. Higher pressures were due to my incorrect calculation with in the pressure setup 😅🤦‍♂️ I really need to nail it at 27..

Not my strongest car tho.. . I tried driving the 296 last week & I don't know if I'm the problem or the car in general is not so stable xD.... cuz every other 296 was passing me on the straights & they had much better acceleration as well. Even with 5, 6, 7 TC I was losing it big time. Just did not align with my driving style is all I can say 😅 Maybe if you know how to tame it, you'll be ahead on the grid.

Lambo is just unpredictable at this point. It feel like it’s under control and the next thing I know I’m in the damn wall and it doesn’t want to steer when I want it to steer. Such a weird machine that one… 😆😆 Whoa, zandvoort, way back before LFM BoP was introduced I guess. Just trying to get the best out of a few cars which keeps dominating the lobbies.

Spot on sir! Gotta address that BB.. Aston so fast on the straights it scared the heck out of me in the braking zone 😅😆 Braking is so much different & it’s not that good either in these front engine cars. If I was a bit cautious, I’d have not killed the Ferrari. I’m glad the content has been enjoyable mate ❤️❤️ Thank you so much 😄👊 New cars, new driving techniques, it was hard but quite fun.. Absolutely, gotta see the BoP & ballast on tracks and see if the bimmer is a viable option. Aston does seem like an all rounder tho.. 🤔

😅😅 I have to drive all the cars like that. I don’t use a load cell pedal so it’s difficult to execute trail braking technique... If you watch my mcl videos, it’s even more prominent in that. Just a heads up, this doesn’t work with all the cars.

in lambo engine map only affect engine brake afaik

I tried Map 1 mate & drove for about 10 laps in the practice server. It has aggressive engine braking & helps with better rotation. Didn’t quite go any quicker tho 🤔 Maybe I am problem not the car 😅 But even the quickest aliens are using map 3 with 1TC.

The Porsche was all over the back of me.. Yeah, he saw the gap & was way too impatient. Kept flashing as well. Although he was a tenth quicker when I saw his FL after the race 🙃🙃 Very difficult mate, somehow facing forward.. I was missing that accl & flat 6 symphony throughout the race not gonna lie 😂😂🤣 Suzuka seems good so far.. Hope you've had some good racing over at Barcelona & gained some decent points..

Yessir, trying to switch to a different car from the Porsche. Been testing out 4 different cars this week. Drove the 720s EVO, 296, Huracan EVO2 & Bimmer.

As much as I love driving the Porsche, it's not a strong car on the field 😔😔 Now that Ford & Bentley are underbopped, the Porsche doesn't stand a chance with them. Of late even the 296 & 720s EVO seem to dominate the lobbies. So, I decided to try something else with which I can keep up with the other cars.. Really sad to let go of the Porsche 😢

The hit sent me outside Kyalami 🤣🤣🤣 I lost ELO by trying different cars... xD T1 was crazy considering it was split 1... The small little battle with the Ferrari was the only highlight 😅 Suzuka is so far okay... Been good. only my mistake through out the races 🤕

Unfortunately no bro… not driving the Macca 😔😔 lots of problem in the slow corners for me. I hate it when I start sliding mid corner entry. If that wasn’t its characteristic, I’d have stuck with it. Let’s hope we’ll get in the same lobby today 😁 300 ELO & down to 1,760 from 2010. TC1 is perfect for its loose rear. I can happily chuck the car into snake without having to worry. Very responsive…. You’ll get there since you main the Mcl. Not too long now.

@@SlicksandSlipstream yeah i know macca is a big slidy had to fight it everytime, hope you can find another car beside the porsche, i hate driving other car i don't like the sound and how they drive, so for me maca is the best just need to master it...

@@ibrahimabarry5408 That's a good thing actually.. You've found what suits your driving and also keep up with the field. Without top speed, it's impossible to race with other cars which zooms past in any given stretch..

From the replay it looked like the bimmer wanted to turn in early no matter what. Could’ve actually stuck to the outside line, maybe he’d have got a better run off the exit, since I was hugging the inside line 😅 I still agree with you, I was carrying a bit more speed than I should. The straight line speed of the bmw is crazy. Yesssir, the quote was from sometime, maybe 2 seasons ago & I still stand by that 😂😂 so I’ve decided to not drive the Macca. Just gave it a shot because more and more Macca drivers out on track of late. Thought something changed with the BoP. I’m still struggling to get a good drive out of the slow corners. Even with 1TC the car behaves very badly. Only positive aspect is the rear of the car. It’s very loose, which is exactly how I want so I can chuck it around the corners. I tried the Aston & the overall drivability did not align with my driving style. BMW looks a viable option & it’s one of my favourite irl. Well, second favourite, the first is always the Porrrscheeeee 😝😂

i start with full wing and if i feel i am losing time on straights will lower a bit...but if you're saying zero wing works then i will give it a go 😊

@natsamami lol do what works best for you, wings actually don't do a lot for downforce ride height will do far more for in the downforce area wing always seems to me like a tool for fine tuning the downforce if you just need a lil bit more downforce

That was very unfortunate for me with the Mustang. It was indeed a good battle mate for as long as it lasted 👊👊 I don’t know how I was ahead in the start finish straight for a brief moment, because it’s the first time Porsche was quicker 🤣🤣 I was actually hoping to have a battle with you & would’ve been really fun… I’ll see you out on the track mate. Yeah that happens. Sometimes the racing is exceptionally good & other times, well, not so much 😮‍💨 It's worse when you haven't even reached T1 in 45 minute race. Then the repair time comes to about 2 minutes and almost 2 laps behind...

Exactly! LFM needs to consider SA as well in their matchmaking system. That’ll filter the poor racecraft drivers with insanely higher ELO. In that sense, we’ll have a cleaner lobby. At least for me, only 1 race was ruined & the other was my mistake. But I did see a lot of reckless behaviour on track where other drivers were involved.

@lowfastracing Haha.. that’s a good one mate. Sure looked like that 😂😂😂 For whatever reason split 1 lobbies with Gold, Gold+ rated drivers have more terrible driving standards of late. Maybe it’s because they have way high ELO with borderline rookie SA rating & poor racecraft. I find split 2 & 3 to have decent drivers with good racecraft.

@@SlicksandSlipstream that's one of the reasons why i stopped playing in lfm, the midday/afternoon top splits were nightmare, most of the guys didn't use their head... Maybe one day we'll race together, but two weeks ago i broke my good old Ikea Poang chair, i wait for my friend who will maybe fix it, but he's on a family holiday now... So i play Fall Guys in these weeks. :D

They do & LFM COC is extremely strict. There’s a report mechanism through which all the incidents can be submitted as a short clip. Depending on the type of incident, it’s either a SA deduction or reset penalty, suspension or permanent ban.

There's a lot going in LFM so here are 3 best outcomes 😁😅 Also boost your SA by playing offline. In game SA rating only matters to secure LFM License. Start in Rookies: If drivers are skilled, you'll have a great race and boost your rating quickly. Avoid Carnage: Start the race, dodge reckless drivers, and finish ahead to increase your rating. Unfortunate Encounter: If everyone drives with I'll win the race in T1, you'll struggle to move up from rookies for a long time.

There’s no particular reference for barbeque. Usually I brake in the middle of the track as it gets straightened out. You’ll find the reference & the sweet spot for braking as you drive more around this track.

Total 1000 hours. I’ve been playing ACC since console days (Xbox one and series x). 500hours on Xbox & 500 hours on PC. Honestly, I’ve never played iRacing so I’m not sure what they offer for daily races.

I second everything you said 🙌🙌 12nm & a decent load cell pedals seem to be the right upgrade. 8nm DD was prime in the last few years. Now 12 is the starting point. The adaptability is also a crucial factor. I was looking at a few videos of sim setup upgrade guides & what not to do. In one of Dave cam’s video, he mentioned just the pedals got him to 4k irating from 1.5k. That’s also very subjective to individual’s driving style. Thanks a ton mate ❤️ I have really pushed the limits of my setup in the last year or so. A lot of factors are to be considered when investing into these upgrades. I’ll make a small video once I decide what to upgrade first. Can’t be breaking the bank on these peripherals 😅

@@SlicksandSlipstream i had 8nm dd as my upgrade from belt and at the beginning it felt great but became obvious there were too many points of zero feeling

@@natsamami True... Been checking out the forums & some reviews in the last few days. Fanatec is falling off real bad. Also, I've read a lot of complaints with customer support from Fanatec.

Haha… it’s melting here as well after split 1 races 😂😂 The whole base will be super hot & I’ll have to actually give a small break to the wheel before moving to the next one. I would love to upgrade the setup, but I’ll have to decide carefully & not break the bank. Not so long ago I spec’d Simagic’s ecosystem & an aluminium frame for the rig. The total came up to somewhere $2,300 😶

@@natsamami Are you still driving the 296 mate ? Because if you're driving the 296, it's going to be easy 41.3s.. Hard to extract from the Porsche since it goes at a sloth's pace on the start finish straight & also gets walked on the straights 😂😂

Inside line or far outside is the safest place to be at Kyalami 🙌🙌 The Ferrari behind me was positioned in the most unsafe place. Lucky for him, he got corrected by getting another punt.

I joined a split 1 race & I was the slowest driver with 27 car number in a 27 player lobby & the only silver rated driver 😂😂 I was driving my heart out & still couldn’t catch up 😭😭😆 On top of it I had 20 seconds of damage 🥲

@natsamami That race felt terrible mate 🥲🥲🥲 But there are some positive things to take away from that race. I actually found some pace racing against those gold drivers compared to being the fastest in split 2. Lots to learn from their approach which I actually found it very interesting. You’ll probably see me in split 1 more often because I’m nearly silver+ 😅

You know what mate.. Actually.. there has been some atrocities happening in T1 & elsewhere on this track & it was worst than Zolder. It's just that some people who are desperate to make moves causes unnecessary incidents. Regardless of the track, ignorant driving will always lead to mass carnage. On Zolder, it's more evident because the track is narrow.

Haha.. Lezzzz goooooooooo mate ♥😄But first, this is very important.. when the rig comes out, we're doing a race together 😎💪 This is due for a very long time now. Got the hang of the exact fuel load on some tracks mate. Car feels perfect with the right amount of fuel. Also, that low BB is also another factor I believe.

Get rid of multiplayer ? I’d like to know from where you got this information ? I think you’re mistaken because Kunos ditched support for ACC on PS4 & Xbox one long time ago. In fact, they’ve integrated cross play multiplayer on the next gen console & even sim grid offers daily races on console now. ACC thrives on multiplayer only 😅 I’ve never played GT sport properly. One time I bought PS5 & played GT sport for like 1 hour and sold the console itself 😂😅

@gakidomo9561 must be some other game not ACC. Probably it’s Gran Turismo side of things which I’m not aware of since I don’t play. ACC is thriving & is currently played by a lot of people. You mentioned ps4 / 5 so I will not recommend anyone to buy ps4 or Xbox one generation of consoles in 2024 tho.
